Tom Strate, President of Strate Insurance Group, is pleased to announce an additional service being offered to customers. Human Resources Consulting Services are now available through the agency’s Employee Benefits Department. Nancy Holder, SPHR will lead these efforts.

We are aware that our clients are being challenged to do more with less in response to economic realities; therefore, we are offering to help our clients increase their human resources capacity without increasing their overhead. We are very confident in Mrs. Holder’s ability to deliver effective and meaningful results“. This service allows our clients to out-source some of the time consuming projects that face HR Professionals, allowing them to invest their time more wisely in direct employee relations and the everyday responsibilities of their core businesses.
Following a review of current policies and procedures, clients may select from a menu of customized services. We can assist in regulatory compliance issues, conduct job analyses leading to updated job descriptions, assist in developing compensation plans and performance reviews, update handbooks and policy manuals, prepare and conduct supervisory training, and counsel with management as requested on individual issues. These services are being offered based on individual needs of the customer.

Nancy Holder Earns Certification as a Sr. Professional in HR
NANCY HOLDER EARNS CERTIFICATION AS A
SENIOR PROFESSIONAL IN HUMAN RESOURCES
Nancy P. Holder, Human Resources Consultant for Strate Insurance Group, Inc recently earned recertification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Holder first earned the certification in 1992 and has spent more than twenty years in Human Resource Management with companies in the manufacturing and services sectors.
The certification, awarded by the HR Certification Institute, signifies that Nancy P. Holder possesses the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management necessary to pass a rigorous examination and has demonstrated a mastery of the body of knowledge in the human resources field.
“Certification as a human resource professional clearly demonstrates a commitment to personal excellence and to the human resource profession,” said Mary Power, CAE, Executive Director of the HR Certification Institute.
To become certified, an applicant must pass a comprehensive examination and demonstrate a strong background of professional human resource experience.

The HR Certification Institute is the credentialing body for human resource professionals and is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest organization dedicated exclusively to the human resource profession. The Institute’s purpose is to promote the establishment of professional standards and to recognize professionals who meet those standards.
Holder is a member of the Employee Benefits Team at Strate Insurance Group where she provides a variety of HR Consulting services for their clients. She is a member of the Lakeway Human Resource Management Association and the Society for Human Resource Management.
