GROUP HEALTH INSURANCE

Employer sponsored group medical insurance is available to groups of two or more. Our staff will assist you in designing a plan that meets your company’s employee benefits needs and priorities. We offer fully insured and self-funded medical plans through both insurance companies and third party administrators. Maybe a new innovative plan design should be considered when re-evaluating your medical insurance such as H R A or H S A. Sometimes seeking opportunities to control cost may lead you to consider a self-funding approach. The important thing to consider in working with someone is the experience of the individuals and the agency when it comes to advice on whether or not to self fund or fully- insure your medical plan, bundled or unbundled services and how to communicate the changes to the employees. Select a flat amount for all employees, multiples of annual salary or a benefit amount that varies depending upon different employee classifications. We can provide you with group life insurance products via insurance companies to meet your needs. One of an employee’s greatest concerns is becoming too hurt or too sick to work, thereby losing their ability to earn an income. You can ease this concern by providing income replacement through a Group Short Term Disability benefit, Group Long Term Disability benefit, or a combination of both. By sponsoring a Health Flexible Spending Account you make it possible for your employees to be reimbursed for eligible out of pocket healthcare expenses through pre-tax contributions they make on their own behalf. Amounts the employee contributes to this account are free of both federal and social security taxes. As an employer, you have the option of contributing to the account on the employees behalf.

Similar to a Health Flexible Spending Account, a Dependent Care Spending Account is a vehicle that allows your employees to set aside monies, on a pre-tax basis, and be reimbursed for eligible child or adult day care expenses.

We offer supplemental and voluntary products to help an individual build his or her personalized coverage. RETIREMENT 401(k) PLANS

Retirement planning is essential to securing a level of comfort for you and your family when you retire. The most important steps to a happy retirement are saving and investing your money. After working for a long time, a big rest is exactly what you need. Whether you want to travel, pick up a new hobby, or just relax in your retirement, it’s important to plan for those “golden years”.

We can help you plan for your retirement years with a 401(k).

By sponsoring a A 401(k) plan you allow your employees to plan and save for their retirement. Employee contributions are deducted from their paychecks on a pre-tax basis, which reduces the amount of income tax withholding. Contributions and earnings are not taxed to the employee until withdrawn from the plan. You may choose to make matching contributions to the plan on behalf of your employees, and may also add a profit sharing feature to the plan. you to postpone receiving a portion of your salary until you retire. You choose the amount of income you’d like to “send to the future,” or defer annually. Advantages of a 401(k) include:

  • Chance of lowering your income rate by deferring a portion of your taxable income.
  • Ability to access the money for certain situations like buying a house, college fees, or in some hardship situations.
  • Your Social Security contributions and benefits will not be impacted by your 401(k) plan.
  • Your account is transferable—so you can take it with you from job to job

LONG TERM CARE

Long-Term Care has been defined as “medically necessary assistance”, recommended by a physician for the treatment of a chronic illness or debilitating injury on a long term basis. Recovery is usually not expected. Care is oriented toward helping a person function, not toward a cure.

Long-term care is typically not covered by your health plan, disability coverage or Medicare. Medicaid does cover long-term care, but only after you have used up your assets paying for care.

COBRA Administration Services

The administration of COBRA for your employee benefits can consume a great deal of the precious time of your Human Resources Department. At Strate Insurance Group, we provide turnkey COBRA Services which include the following:
